Don't Stop! Wont Stop! Finishing the Job.

Hi! My name is Michael. A little bit of background information I'm 40years old, married with 3 little kids ages 5,4, and 2 about to be 3 years(Sept.12,2010)old. I'm currently unemployed and I'm a new student at Pinnacle Career Instititue. I'm in the Wind Turbine Technician class this is a "Green Technology" Career. At my previous Job of 5 years. I was entry level the whole time I was there (a packer in the converting dept.) People gave me a hard time about not moving up to take an operator position, but I didn't want that responsibility, besides I felt as though I had some ideas on how the company could have increased their sales, and would have been more suited in an office job in the marketing dept.. The only thing that I felt held me back from seriously looked at for the position, was lack of a degree. I knew that I didn't want to work there for 10 years, but without an education, it would be nearly impossible for me to find a job that pays what I was making (30k a year). So as I began thinking I knew that I needed some kind of training or certification in a field of work, so that I can improve the quality of life for me and my family. I decided to go to the employment center to search jobs, work on a resume, and sign up for free training courses that might be available. A few weeks later, I ended up being fired from my job, and returned to the employment center, this time to file for unemployment. While I was looking at a job guide I saw an advertisement for the Wind Turbine Technician program and I called the number they called back, I signed up and now I'm here. This is not the first time that I went to school to improve myself, (I went to a business school for PC Tech.) but I didn't finish and ended up getting garnished for not paying my loan for 2 years. I'm well aware of the repercussions of not finishing. That is why "Finish The Job is my motto".
