Team Members Not Cooperative

I work with people who are always negative..every time I request work from them they give all sorts of stories instead of giving me what I need.

My job is an exciting one but now with all the negativity I get and being asked the reasons I request what I request it made it not so exciting. In order for the work to be done in my department I have to collect information form them to be submitted to the client.

I'm afraid to ask for something now because I know the answers I am going to get. It's a sad situation cause the work is not done properly.

First figure out the reason for their non co-operation

Second analyse each of their personality, change your approaching style, at the same time build a rapport with them, have some informal chat when you get a chance and explain your position and the impact they have on it, sometimes speaking directly in a professional and calm tone helps.

If nothing works, just speak to your Manager about it, there is nothing wrong to ask for help from Management that way they will also get to know the problem
